Welcome to the Bulls HeadSteven Whyke has recently taken over as manager of The Bulls Head Holymoorside. He is well known to regulars at The Bull, who have been used to seeing Steve behind the bar for the last few years. He is keen to keep up the reputation of The Bull for the quality of its beers, which includes regulars Adnams Bitter and at least two guest beers from local breweries such as Abbeydale, Brampton, Peak and Spire. The Bulls Head has an interesting menu - but remains a pub for all tastes. We source our excellent ingredients from local suppliers and our home-made steak and ale pie with home-made chips is one of our most popular dishes. The Bull's Head Holymoorside has got several small rooms for conversation or pub games and an idyllic setting next to the river, where children can play to their hearts’ content while their parents enjoy the Bull’s many amenities. There are many local walks through the beautiful north Derbyshire countryside and the Peak District. It also had an outside area which catches the sun in the afternoons and is covered over in Winter. We were voted Chesterfield & District CAMRA’s Pub of the Season for Summer 2006, from a carefully selected shortlist. We have heating to the outside patio - so you can enjoy our pub at all times of the year!
